Q: Can you do <Insert Saint/Icon here>?

Probably! We don't have an exact process by which we select which images we produce. We want to make sure that the images are high quality and render well on wood - existing art just doesn't do. Please don't hesitate to send requests in... we have plenty of requests already but squeaky wheels get grease!

Q: That's a unique style - did you draw these?

Yes, our artist draws these images - specially crafted for the exact medium of wood burning.

Our current artistic style is influenced by a great love of Byzantine iconography and the Catholic Worker movement, especially the work of Ade Bethune. We believe it's a great melding between modern sensibilities and traditional iconography, expressly designed for engraving.
